Lazy Gal has her brand new book out and available! Say it Loud and Fun with Words in Quilts!

I have long been a fan of Tonya Ricucci's blog and style. Since I have always loved putting words in my quilts it made sense I would love her work and her whimsy and her color! She is awesome. I ordered this book and I suggest you do it too. Lots of fun to say fun things in story quilts you know!
Her blog is lazygalquilting.blogspot.com
Amazon has a good deal on the book. Can't wait to see my friend Julie's quilt in there and also there is a sampler quilt I can't wait to see. Wouldn't it be nice to spell out "Merry Christmas" or "Bah Humbug."?

Both of my book quilts (Flying Monkeys & And Sometimes Y) arrived home safe and sound yesterday ... they made quite a stir at the office!

Quickest way to get a book for right now is from the publisher (Martingale) ... but Amazon is projecting delivery late next week ... THAT'S TOO LONG! We are all SO anxious to see the book, of course WE WANT IT NOW!

Sigh. I keep reminding myself ... good things come to those who wait (but, please, hurry up Mr. Postman!)

Here's to words on quilts!

Isn't it a riot jumping on the band wagon to CELEBRATE Tonya. What a riot visiting all of the blogs with her influence and POOF! you are prolonging the mayhem, I love it!! Your enthusiasm for her is why I love blogland, we are all in this together and allowing no room for competitive ickiness!! Love, Em

thank you, Mary Lou. Julie actually has two quilts in the book, plus a back. and yes, that sampler quilt you're thinking of is truly wonderful.

All fun...I have a word in book! It is wonderful to see all the quilters in blog-land who are supporting Tonya!

I'm with you on both counts -- I'm waiting for my copy of the book, and I don't like that pepto-bismal shade of pink either. since I live in the land of guys, its not likely a colour that will appear at my house any time soon.
