Road to California Great Creativity and Color-Jane Coserelli and her fab jackets and something funny and true!

Thought I would share more photos of what I took at Road to California with you.
Below I also gave you a little thing about manicures to make you smile- it did me as everytime I walk into my place for a pedicure, they say "hello" and then a long sentence or two and then they all laugh.

Below is photos of Jane Coscarelli's jackets -but she wrote "The Tortilla Quilt" which is a wonderful book. She has such style and like me she LOVES color. This red jacket is fabulous in person! NOTE- Jane buys her jackets at the thrift store and then turns them into magic! I don't think I could find something like this where I live....need to find someone who can make a wool coat...if anyone does such a thing these days.

I have always admired Jane Coscarelli's style of quilting with everything she does-wool jackets, Day of the dead, Hispanic images- Here I took some photos of one of her wonderful jackets- you can see above the red one she wore...wonderful.

Love Janes Jackets! Especially the red one, with out the lapels. What pattern does she use for the coat, it would be fun to try with our own appliques!
