The winners are...AND one can never have TOO many dots!

Dots and Dots and Dots and Dots.............

And Dots and Dots and Dots and Dots...........

And Dots and Dots and Dots...........

And the winners are.......Woolensails, Julie Sefton,Upstate Lisa and Spicy Kathy. Please keep commenting and you could be next!
Below I set these aside to do something with them....you know when you run into something you forgot you had??? Such fun to have a stash...and a good one at that.

My friend Heather has been sorting through my fabrics and putting them in more shallow containers by design and by color. Here are four of the dot bins and she is working on another 4 bins of dots....I guess I liked dots better than I thought I did. I will be having more drawings for people who have signed up as followers throughout the summer. It is fun for me too. So far we have six bins of dots and counting.....yikes, I knew I loved dots.........

These peonies are from my garden and what a lovely thing to enjoy them while sewing away on wild flowers

Below my Grandchildren enjoy the garden....

Below is my husband Mark who is putting a roof on the pergola so I can sit and sew and enjoy the rain noises....

Above is the backyard and I know have a little outdoor livingroom to sew and sit and enjoy. Hey, who has time to just sit and enjoy? Too many ideas.......

Your grandchildren are adorable.
I really need to invest some more into my garden next year. I have over an acre and except for a few plants, have never had time to do anything, so started an area this year and hopefully I can keep it going.

L0ve the dots!! Your grandkids are so cute in the garden~
I got one of your books from the library and have begun the process of a creative and very personal quilt for myself!!This will represent to me the place that I have worked so hard to find~surrounded by my seven grandmunchies who remind me each time they visit to stop and play~
Thank you for your wonderful books!

Mary Lou, your photos are so much fun! I felt as of I dropped by to 'hold the ladder' for Mark while your darling grandkids watch and play nearby in the beautiful garden! Gosh, I have peony envy! Can't seem to grow them here. . .And that pergola will be such a lovely place to sew and hear the rain falling in the garden. Thanks for always sharing your beautiful home, family and inspiration~

Your grandchildren are adorable and I think they both look like you, Mary Lou! Love those sweet smiles! :-)

What a sweet hubby you have ~ you'll love stitching in the rain!

Great collection of dots Mary Lou,

I also have some but no where near as many as you have. I want to do a dotty quilt one day of lights and darks.

Your peonies are beautiful, very Ruth McDowell inspiring for a quilt.

That is an unbelievable amount of dots! How long did it take you to find and procure such a grand selection?
