Welcome to My Garden-I love June

Welcome to my garden-this is an amazing place in that I can sit out here and everything difficult goes away. The birds, the bees and the little critters all scatter about and the squirrels play. I have a new little teeny bird family that have moved in to my large birdhouse. It is the only birdhouse that the squirrels haven't made the holes larger so they can live there in the winter. It is fun to look out there on a snowy day and see the squirrels heads peeking out of their birdhouse homes. They are pests but fun to watch just the same. It has been raining here and I have huge poppy flowers ready to burst forth. I hope they wait until the rain is gone. Day after tomorrow is the Farm Girls sale here in Spokane and I can't wait to go and see if they have quilts for sale and anything else I need. Like a new cabinet to hold my stuff. I need to pare down and make more room in my sewing space. Wish I had a little house in the back just for my work....anyone else feel the same way? Isn't it lovely now how the style is to bring the outdoors in and visa versa?God is the best decorator in the world no matter where in the world you go.

Mary Lou..
Your garden is just beautiful! I can see why you would get inspiration there. It looks like you have put a lot of love into it.
I can't wait to get outside and putter in mine today, before the storms come. Hopefully, it won't hail as they have predicted.
Take care,
Nancy, Northern Ohio

Beautiful, cool weather here - very different for us at this time of year - and the cherries are ripe. . . Yes, fresh cherries right off the tree for breakfast, Yum!! I've been busy picking the ones I can reach, and using the ladder with the help of my 'good neighbor Sam', the 8 year-old boy who lives across the road, and wishing I could share these with you, and enjoy a cup of tea in your garden and visit the Farm Chicks show with you! Might be time to make a cobbler to share. . .

Your garden is amazing, Mary Lou, and just as colourful as your work. I can see how you would get inspired out there and where all your wonderful cheery applique flowers come from!
