FATHER'S DAY CAKES BY MATT-& A GRANDMA QUILT FOR THE HOMELESS

So, about a week ago I got a nice note from Matt who loves ties and is a cake decorator-who wouldn't want to bring home one of these cakes for your Father or your husband or your "guy?" Matt is very talented and sounds like a fun guy. Here is his site-http://www.tiepedia.com/tie-blog/49-crafts/155-tie-cake

What is more beautiful than a quilt for someone less fortunate. This quilt made of my Grandmother fabric line was made by the Apple Piecers from the Pajaro Valley quilt association. The images in the middle of these blocks is of Grandmother's with thier sweet Grandchildren having fun and sharing love. They even remembered to put cheddar in there!

Those cakes are so neat and wonderfully made.
My DIL loves to make cakes, I should have her make one. I used to bake, but now I can't eat them, so I let others bake the goodies.

Wonderful charity quilt.

Those cakes are fantastic! Love the quilt. Is there a place where we can see your quilts up closer? I would love to see more of the detail.
