Gingerbread Houses are not what they used to be

Here is Kathy with her first place Grand champion award for the best Gingerbread house. The theme she did was Snow White and look at the details!

Can you see all of the details and the fun here?

Here is the Prince with Snow White after she ate the apple-look at the inside of the house on the right and the hundreds of little candy flowers

Here are the seven dwarfs beds and bedroom

Here is a closeup of the gingerbread kitchen

Isn't this charming?

Kathy spent alot of time with the individual leaves on every tree

Isn't this charming?

One of the houses had the theme of Lady and the Tramp-the photo below is the neighborhood

Isn't this cute- it makes me hungry for Italian food

One of the Gingerbread houses had the Bible themes from Vegietales- very cute! This one of coarse if Jonah and the whale

I am not sure what the theme of this one was, but I loved the pretzel tree house idea.

This is the entry into the Davenport Hotel- If you ever get to Spokane Washington you MUST see this old hotel that is fabulous with the gold detail and the woodwork, iron work, furniture, old photos and luxury. It is a fine place to eat and also to just get a latte and sit and watch people.

Kathy did an amazing job, all that detail must have taken a lot of time.

Congratulations on a job well done. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us Mary Lou.

I can't even do a kit one, without messing it up, those are amazing.
