Hoochy quilts,Sock Swap for fun,On the Road to California,Reserving your spot for Mary Lou's retreat
Well, I have been packing all day long and think I finally have my bags packed and am ready to go to Road to California. Hooray, what fun!
By the way (and this has nothing to do with that) if you want to reserve your spot for my retreat June 13th (come in) through the 17th ends late afternoon)-cost is $535plus your hotel, YOU may send me a deposit of $200. to hold your spot and then please pay the balance by May 1st. That way, I know who is serious and I will hold your spot. I already have it half full and many of you have asked questions. Send your check to Mary Lou Weidman, 1521 N.Argonne#276-Spokane Valley, WA 99212-2555. It is really going to be fun with all new things to try out. Laurie Latta is our chef again.
I am delighted that on Wednesday I will have whole new group of students who are making Hoochy Mama quilts. So much fun and so many posibilities! Hope you consider taking a class someday and learning this easy and cool technique! SO cool! I can't wait until the new book is out because it is all easy breezy things done the hoochy way and they are COOL and FUN and CREATIVE. Three things that make quilting awesome!
This sample is from Carol from West Michigan. I was so happy she joined the block swap in my chatroom! SO much fun.
Julie, the quilt diva and awesome quilter and fun person joined the sock swap also! Her blog is fun too.
Em is a qonderful quilter and her blog is also one I do not miss.
These three links are all great with lots of ideas and oomph as far as creativity goes!
