A Story Quilt That is Sure to be Lucky!

This story quilt was started in my Asiomat five day class (Emptyspoolseminars.com)
by my friend Candy. She had a Grandmother who used to take an empty purse and when the moon was full she would say "Full Moon, Full Moon, fill my empty Purse!"
And low and behold, that next month she would win some money, get a good deal on a sale, someone would give her something free or something good would happen.
Candy told us this at Asilomar and when she met with former classmates in Tahoe we all noticed it was a full Moon and wondered if we did this would we get something great! Candy said it works for her. I am waiting until I buy a lotto ticket on the right day and then I plan to win. :0)
You will know it is because of the full Moon right?
Notice the great detail of her Grandma, the money, the colors and the whimsy. It will be at the Sisiter's show and I predict the Full Moon will be good to her because the Story Quilt is such a darling winner! Candy, I adore this darling quilt.

LOVE this awesome quilt!!! I truly love the moon and plan on going there someday! :~D

Right at midnight, we go outside and raise our opened pocketbooks. While also looking up and smiling at the gorgeous sight, we say "Moon, moon, beautiful moon ~ fill it up, fill it up, fill it up soon."

Several years ago when my friend and I did this from the dock of her lake house, I decided to see if it would help and tried holding up my bathing suit top! :-P Unfortunately, something must have been lost in translation because my belly is what actually grew! LOL

I saw this post the other day. I had to let you know isn't it funny how things come back to you. All I could think about was this quilt. I loved looking at it and the story just made it so complete. It is such a lovely quilt.
