Home from Beautiful MN and Finishing Up on Market Photos-PLUS fabric giveaway
Mel and I show Cows from the Cow pattern in the book which has taken a life of it's own. We have loads and loads of cow quilts people have made and we are booked for a show at Road to California in January and also MN quilters in June. These cow quilts are addictive! We had so much fun showing the many cow quilts and chick quilts and coffee quilts we brought as a result of the Out of the Box with Easy Blocks book! GREAT fun and a neat way to get quilter's to learn how to be creative with a starting point! We are holding up Susan Typpi's cow quilt...so great!
Below is Mary Lou and Mel and TWO Wacky Women who Mary Lou is teaching for next year-want to do a story quilt in a beautiful hotel with great hostess's, good food, lovely new friends, ideas for stories and how to's and techniques you haven't tried? Come and join us! Two Wacky Women, Summer 2012, Quilting Retreat

Sounds like you all had a lot of fun!! Love the cows.
The black swan quilt is great, wish I could have been there and brought my cow quilt to share!
I've seen pictures of the cows, but I didn't realize they were so big. How awesome they are!
Love the quilts from market...how fun to get to see them.
My friend and I took that picture of you two at market!! How exciting it is to see it show up on your page! We are working on cow ideas at this very moment. Thanks for an exciting memory.

Love the cow quilts ~ would love to see them "on tour". That pattern is on my "someday" list, too!
Thanks for sharing the awesome Houston pictures!
love the cows...also love the gratitude journal. With the children for the month of Nov. we do a gratitude tree where each person in the family writes what they are thankful for on a leaf and puts it on the tree. It's precious to see what each person is grateful for.
Love the cows...we do a different twist on the gratitude journal. We have a poster of a bare tree in the kitchen. Each night at dinner, each family member takes a paper leaf and writes what they are thankful for and places it on the tree. we call it our gratitude tree...it would be a great rough draft for a quilt in the future. Love seeing each leaf with each persons own handwriting and spelling! A treasure!
Thank you for sharing the images of the quilts at market. It is great to see all of the creative directions people are taking.
