Germany is a GOOD place for buttons-ZER GUT!

I thought I would share what I found in a Department store in Germany. This was quite a find and I spent alot of Euros on these colorful trinkets. Such Fun!
If you haven't visited Germany one of the best treats is that you can eat in a Department store and the food is just excellent and they have wonderful decorations made with food and it is arty, clean and wonderful. Plus, the variety was wonderful. I wish we had that here!

So many buttons and so little time! What a beautiful mosaic of color they make. How did you ever decide what to buy and when to stop? Travelling in other countries is fun because we get to see other ways of doing things and I think it makes us more understanding of our differences. Just love all the colors:)

Oh My!
Button Button Who has the Button!
As a child growing up in New Oreleans I made many trips to St Charles Street to view the MadiGrais parades with my family. One year, maybe I was 6-7 years old I met a man who had on a suit jacket that was covered with buttons. Not one inch of fabric was exposed. All Buttons! That was his costume. I have never forgotten that picture in my mind and would love to copy it. Yes I hunt and save buttons. Someday my dream willl come true!.To be the one that does the inventory!
