Mary Lou I love the wonderful colors in your garden, especially the delphiniums. They're my favorite flower and we can't grow them here. Your blogs are always o stimulating to the eye. The polka dot chicken with the flowers provided the missing piece for a quilt that has been simmering in my brain for awhile. Rhondi
Fall is one of my favourite times of year. I took some pictures of different sunflowers while on vacation with the idea of creating some different designs for quilts. I can't believe how many different varieties there are. We went to a flower market in Half Moon Bay in California and they sold flowers for $3.00 a large bunch for most bunches!
Mary Lou Thank you for your nice comment on my blog! I think you make the most beautiful quilts! And you designs fabrics as well! Love the quilt that you made for the Charity Raffle for the San Diego Quilt show. The fabrics, the colours, the design...It looks so cheerful and happy! Makes me smile. Rannveig from Norway

Dear MaryLou
Love the pictures of the garden. I especially love the cherries.
When we were in Maine I saw these bushes with what I thought were large berries came to find out they are rosehips.
Enjoy
