Kathy Collins shows her box of my fabrics -isn't this funny and fun?

Kathy Collins sent me this photo after seeing the photo below of Julie's box of my fabrics I sent her to make a sample for Market- I sent one to Kathy too and this is it above. Kathy wrote this to me
"Hey Mary Lou,
Ok ---- Julie opens her box from you and takes a beautiful picture of the great fabrics. I open my box with your fabrics and a "Pip" hops inside and refuses to get out.
Ya know, I'm working at a big disadvantage here!!!"
This is a fun note!

  1. A box is one thing, but a box with fabrics, and guaranteed the kitty will find it.

  2. How funny! They really do have a mind of their own :)

Thanks for your comment on Stronghold---my dad mentioned the tobogan run...he thought there was one there, but couldn't remember for sure. (Something about a friend in high school broke his arm going down it). The boys really enjoyed it!

Your fabrics are beautiful! So bright and happy :) My friend is helping me get stared on my first real quilt. Can't wait to get started!

  6. Do you have a schedule for your own workshop in Idaho next year? I am interested and hope I can work it into my travels.

  7. I just received my Quilter's Newsletter in the mail and read the fantastic article about you. Wonderful! I love your stories and all your quilts. These are my favorites, except I love the one about the Witch too and missed seeing it. Congratulations! You are a Star!
