Isn't she lovely? No air conditioning (Hot and dry day) and she is working hard and smiling.
Lovely group eh? Very fun group and no cranky ladies even though it was quite warm.
Isn't this wonderful? The lady who did this got a package of orange fabrics she won. She only does civil war quilts and her favorite color is brown and nothing bright. She first took my class in Jackson Hole and then this one. She is so free and out of the box, I can't believe she is in the box. I wanted to keep her info so I could see the finished product and I couldn't find her at the end of the conference. Please tell her if you see her. Her name starts with a "C" and I want to say but I might be wrong. My brain is getting old. Forgive me.
This is Vikki and she was alot of fun and you can see her flowers below. In fairness one day for a Flower Power class is not enough and everyone told me they wished they had one more day. Me too! But I have to say that everyone did some really great flowers (and birds) and enjoyed it. These make awesome quilts.
Mary got an A for the day since she did the handout I gave out. I loved these colors!
This is Donna and I thought her choice of fabric for this was great!
Isn't this wonderful? Just in time for summer flowers too!
Bluebird of Happiness!
Here is Maggie checking out her Flower with Power!
Fun bluebird and I think she is making him fly when I took this photo-now he is going to get a birdbath from the Flower Power book to swim in-hope I get to see it done. This was a fun and creative quilter!
There was something wrong with the setting of my camera or I would have more of these ladies from class and more photos. What is left is a collection of fuzzy photos that I can't even make out. But you get the picture, It was a lovely time with lovely ladies.

It is so fun to work with shapes that you can use brighter fabrics and designs, to play with.
