This is the HUGE quilt about the southwest I have working on. I cannot believe how big I let it get and all of the stuff on it. Once it is quilted I can embellish it and maybe I will like it again. I have been up until 2am three nights in a row and I am so happy to be handing it over to my quilter here in Spokane who was working for Pam Clarke's shop and it closed and now she finds herself working in a different situation. Scary in these times for sure.
I am leaving for Austin soon and I am sleep walking. :0) Flying isn't what it used to be. :0)
But Austin in wonderful and I am hoping that my Texas friends saw my message on my chatroom about getting together before I leave for home on Thursday.
Hope you all have a lovely week and are working on something creative and colorful! Count your many blessings.

Hi Mary Lou,
I hope that you have a lovely and relaxing flight to Austin and home again. My recent trip to AZ for Christmas was a white-knuckle "E-coupon" ride both ways. So much turbulence that the seatbelt sign never went off. No bathroom breaks, and no beverage service. Glad the flight is under 2 hours! Coming home the pilot even requested an alternate flight path. Glad he did! It was a little better, but still a very bumpy ride!
You have gotten a lot done on the quilt, it is coming along beautifully. Have a wonderful time in Texas and can't wait to hear all about it.

Wow Mary Lou, it looks like you've been busy getting all those memories onto one quilt!
Can't wait to see the finished embellished quilt.
Have fun in Texas and hope you get to meet up with some of our online friends.
